Movement Studies
Movement Studies is an examination of how letterforms move on a surface and affect the substrate below. The compositions were designed by considering how letterforms might move as a herd, together and around each other. Each page was created by brushing graphite powder on freshly made handmade paper while it was still wet. Hung to air dry, the graphite on the paper influenced how the paper dried and the final shape of the final three-dimensional object.
