Sekkazome - Japanese Decorative Papers

Learn to make distinctive Japanese decorative papers to use in your books, collages, cards, or as unique artworks in and of themselves. In this hands-on workshop, learn about sekkazome, a dying method to make bright, kaleidoscopic patterns. Also known as orizomegami, this fun and colorful technique can be done at your dining table with a minimum of materials and equipment. These papers make excellent covers for the Japanese Stab Binding workshops.

Register with Pratt Fine Arts Center.

Recordings of the class live session will be available after each class for 48 hours and is hosted by MS Teams. This class has a supply list link to purchase which will come with your registration confirmation.

Workshop time is Pacific time zone.
